Crapple mapp examples

We’ve all heard about it – the new Apple Map App (that I have termed ‘Crapple mapp’) that comes with iOS6, but I thought it would be interesting to see to what degree Apple has dropped the ball when it comes to its new map app.

Here are some rather blatant visual examples of monumental mapping mistakes that would have Steve Jobs turning in his  i-grave:

A harbour with no exit or entrance. That’s called a lagoon isn’t it?

Powell Butte Nature Park in Portland appears to have grown – the opposite of urbanization

Belgrade, Serbia appears to have lost its rivers – strange

Las Vegas appears to be melting

But my favourite is 3 shopping malls with exactly the same name, that are 6,5 kms apart – makes comparison shopping a bit tricky!
